New User-Printer Mapping Setting
Overview
We have implemented a new setting located in Menu > Admin > Printer User Mapping which grants Admins the ability to prevent unmapped users from sending items to the Inbox.
If a print is attempted by an unmapped user, Updox will reject the print job and will return an error message within the printer application. The error message should read “You can not print because you are not a mapped user. Please see your admin for assistance.”
NOTE: If a printer is using direct credentials or there is always a mapped user, this new setting does not apply.
Updated Version Numbers
We have updated our version numbers to reflect the latest ONC certification. The version number can be found in your Updox account under the Menu.
