The Updox Patient Portal gives you secure, convenient access to your health information, appointments, and easy communication with your care team.

Patient Portal features

You can use the Updox Patient Portal to:

  • Exchange messages with practice staff.
  • Fill out forms and email them to the practice.
  • Set up accounts that allow family members to view your health information.

The following features may not be available for all portal users.

  • View past and future appointments.
  • Schedule an appointment.
  • Submit a refill request.
  • View, download, or email clinical summaries.
  • Request the most recent health record.

Portal account setup

Your practice creates a Patient Portal account for you and sends login information (username, temporary password, and login link) in a registration email.

You can access the Updox Patient Portal by using the login link provided in the registration email.

Log in for the first time

  1. Select the login link provided in your portal registration email.
  2. Enter your username and temporary password.
  3. You're prompted to create a new password and verify your account using your date of birth.

Once you've logged in, your Home tab is open by default.
