Furthermore, certified EHR developers must now support functionality that allows patients to request restrictions on the sharing of their electronic health information (EHI) with certain providers or entities.
To meet this measure, patients can use the secure messaging features in the Updox Patient Portal to send a message to their provider to request access restrictions.
