The NEW Updox Inbox Is Here!

Everything you know, with a cleaner look

The Inbox has been rebuilt on newer technology. Your folders, buttons, and workflows are the same ones you use today. You'll notice a cleaner, more modern look, plus two areas we redesigned along the way.

What's redesigned

Compose and the Address Book got a new layout. These are the two windows you open most, and they got the most attention. Each window is properly sized and centered instead of stretching across the screen; the layout is easier to scan, and the left menu stays usable while a window is open, so a smaller laptop screen no longer hides part of the window behind the menu.

Admin and Tools are now dedicated pages. The slide-out menus that stacked settings inside settings are gone. Admin and Tools screens are now full pages with a clear heading that shows where you are, and related settings sit together on one page instead of splitting across tabs inside a pop-up.

Actions in the Inbox are snappier. Deleting, archiving, tagging, or renaming an item now updates just that item instead of reloading the entire page. You'll spend less time waiting for the screen to catch up, and you'll keep your scroll position and open items instead of getting sent back to the top of the list.

Notifications moved to the lower-left corner. Instead of appearing across the top of the screen, messages now show up as small notifications in the bottom left. This matches how notifications already appear in Forms, Fax, Reminders, and other Updox products.

One more thing worth knowing

Compose remembers what you were working on — even if you close it. Get pulled away mid-message, close the window, and your work is waiting when you reopen it. A failed send won't cost you anything either — the window just stays open. Neither is new, but nobody ever told you about the first one.

The short version

Same Inbox, same work, a cleaner look. Once you're working in it, let us know what you think, including the parts you don't like.
